Fabio Pozzati Fabio's passion for food was born helping his mother cook at home. This enthusiasm brought him to the School of Culinary Arts of Ferrara, where he graduated with honors in 1999. His culinary career began in the Ferrara and Bologna area, where he was able to learn and master the traditional cuisine of Emilia Romagna, before moving to Barcelona in 2005. While in Spain, he was able to create a contemporary cuisine that highlighted his passion for using fresh local ingredients in simply prepared dishes, embracing the Italian culinary philosophy that less is usually more, mastering simple preparations that allow each dish's component to shine.
Fabio has been bringing proven leadership, refined culinary skills and passion to Osteria la Civetta since 2010.
